E bike Rentals
How do I find an electric bike rental near me?
Conveniently located in North Vancouver’s Lolo District – just a short walk from the Seabus terminal, Motor Pony Electric has top quality electric bikes for hire and/or purchase. Do you want to see the sights and have fun doing it? Hire an electric bike!
Why choose an e bike rental?
Electric Bike Rentals are the perfect way to explore the city of Vancouver and the beautiful North Shore. An e bike rental can get you to many of Vancouver’s most popular sites and attractions without the hassle of traffic or waiting for transit. (Note: you must be minimum 16 years old to ride ebike in BC)
Our fleet of e bikes were specifically chosen to handle the North Shore hills. If you are looking for an e bike hire, it is important to have an electric bike that is both efficient and reliable so that you can make the most of your day.
What is included in my electric bike rental?
All our Vancouver and North Shore electric bike rentals come with free helmets and locks. Loved your rental so much you want to purchase? Sometimes that happens. We will credit the cost of any e bike rental towards the purchase of an electric bike.
Where can we ride e bikes in North Vancouver?
We have been riding the North Shore for decades and know the best routes, many well off the beaten path. We will provide you with routes and maps to our favourite electric bike destinations Including the following:
Lower Seymour Demonstration Forest
There are a number of awesome possibilities within this park. You can ride the road and have a relaxing pedal through an amazing forest which is home to wildlife such as Deer, Black Bears, Cougars, Lynx, Eagles and Herron.
Riding along the Seymour River trail is another great option. The gravel path is very well suited for our electric bikes. The river supports a population of Salmon and Trout and there is a hatchery just below the dam that is worth a visit. There are a number of small beaches along the river that make ideal picnic spots.
We will provide the specific location details.
Deep Cove makes for a fantastic ride, with views of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm. On the way you can take in a number of parks including Cates Park and Strathcona Park. Deep Cove itself is a great spot to have a coffee, lunch or beverage. Home to the famous Honeys Donuts, it attracts many visitors.
From our location you can ride the scenic Spirit trail and then up to the Capilano – Grouse Mountain Corridor. Along Capilano you can visit the Capilano Suspension bridge & forest canopy walk, Capilano River Fish Hatchery and Cleveland Dam. At the end of the road is the Grouse Mountain Sky Ride.
The Spirit Trail is a wonderful bike and pedestrian path that goes from east and west from our location. A recommended route is to follow the spirit trail from our location west to Dundarave Pier in West Vancouver. Along the way you will go by the Shipyards District at Lonsdale Quay, Mosquito Creek Marina, Waterfront Park, Ambleside park beach. We suggest having lunch at the Boat Shed, Beach House or Earls.
